Listen to whispers before the dawn The gentle lisping of the leaves... Callisto: A Collection of Poetry Ann Hoang
Welcome to Ann Hoang’s story corner. I often watch the sunrise over the mountains behind our home in Washington state. Dawn is my favorite time of day. It is a time of reflection, inspiration, and peace. One never knows what adventures the new day will bring. Today on our way up Mount Rainier, a tree toppled on the hood of our car! It rains so much here that trees don’t develop deep roots and fall easily. Perhaps a little drought in one’s life now and then makes one stronger. A deep-rooted soul is less likely to be toppled by the winds of adversity. My roots include my faith and family. Expressing my inner struggles through poetry also helps stabilize me in difficult times. Visit this site’s homepage to read more about me and my published works.
